Place to Place is a service to provide the public the opportunity to register as a member of Place to Place to advertise their home for exchange. 

An exchange includes any arrangement members choose to make between themselves, including home exchange, hospitality exchange, vehicle exchange and any other agreements made between the parties.

The contents of the Site are only for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to interrupt, or attempt to interrupt, the operation of the Site in any way.

Your responsibilities

A member of Place to Place is responsible for maintaining their listing, keeping their contact details up to date and organising their own exchanges. 

By registering as a member, you agree to not provide any information or act in a way that may be misleading, inappropriate or dishonest. 

You agree to use this site only for the purpose it is intended.  You also agree to abide by any final arrangements you make with other members of this site unless an emergency situation occurs.  You also agree to assist other members whom you have made arrangements with where ever possible to ensure that the exchange is successful.  If you need to cancel your arrangement in an emergency, you agree to assist the exchange party to make alternative arrangements wherever possible.

Passwords

If you are a member, you must keep your membership number and password secure.  Unauthorised access to member’s profiles is not the responsibility of Place to Place. 

Limitation of Liability

Place to Place is not liable or responsible for the following:

the accuracy or content of the information members provide in their member profile; any arrangements or contracts members make with each other to organise an exchange; or any loss, or any damage or any injury that may occur before, during or after any exchange.

There is no guarantee that members will find a suitable exchange or they will successfully exchange their home.  Place to Place is not responsible if members do not achieve an exchange during their membership.

Place to Place will not be liable for any damages whatsoever, of any kind, including (but not limited to) loss of profits, loss of or damage to goodwill or other expectation benefit or liability to any third party, that are directly or indirectly related to the use of, access to, or the inability to use or access, the Site or any Content provided on it or through it, even if advised of the possibility of such damages or that such damages were foreseeable.

Termination

In addition to any other rights of the parties set forth herein, either you or Place to Place may cancel or terminate this Agreement at any time. Place to Place also reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the membership section of the Site in whole or in part, without notice, with respect to any breach or threatened breach by you of any portion of this Agreement. If Place to Place terminates this Agreement based on a breach of any portion of this Agreement, Place to Place reserves the right to refuse to provide a subscription or any fee-based services to you in the future.

If we find that you are not using the service properly we reserve the right to terminate your use of the service immediately and, if necessary, take legal action against you.

Special Offers

From time to time, we may offer you a discount or benefit through this site. Special offers will generally be available for a limited period of time. We reserve the right to cancel our special offers at any time.

Links within this site are provided for your information. Place to Place does not endorse and has not necessarily verified any of the information available through the use of any link found within the site.

Corrections to the site

Place to Place has the right to correct any errors or omissions, and change any portion of the site without notice. If you find an error, please report it to us.

All prices are stated in Australian dollars.

Membership and renewals

Membership to Place to Place operates on either a one or two year basis. To keep your membership going we will endeavour to advise you when your membership is due to expire. You may cancel your membership at any time.

Cancellations

Place to Place members are billed when they join or renew their membership. The membership fee is non-refundable once payment is processed. 

If you wish to cancel your subscription to the monthly newsletter, or be removed from our database, you may do this at any time through the link at the base of the email or by contacting us at info@placetoplace.com.au. or on +61 419 376 507.

Security

All details, including credit card information, submitted through this site pass through our secure server, which offers 128-bit encryption.

Changes to these terms and conditions

Place to Place may modify these terms and conditions at any time without providing notice to you. Your continued use of the site after such a modification constitutes your acceptance of that modification. For this reason we provide a link to the terms and conditions at the bottom of every page — you should check them each time you visit, because you are bound by them if you use the site.
